About Me and My Role as the School Counselor

About Me
 
I am originally from Virginia but have called New Orleans home for almost 5 years now.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with double minors in Childhood Studies and Sociology from Christopher Newport University.  I received my Master of Arts in School Counseling from Seton Hall University. I will be the School Counselor for Belle Chasse Primary School going on 3 years this 2020-2021 school year and feel so lucky to be a part of this amazing community! 
 
My Role as the School Counselor
 
My primary goal as your School Counselor is to support students and parents needs to the best of my ability in the areas of social, emotional, academic, and career development.  Some of the ways I do this are through:
  • Counseling Lessons
  • Group Counseling
  • Immediate Student Support
  • School-Wide Programming
